This year's event took place on Saturday 7th July at the National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth. All underwater photographers were invited to participate either by entering prints taken prior to the event or slides and digital images taken 'On the Day' to compete for the trophies, some fantastic prizes and personal awards. A total of 39 underwater photographers participated in the 'On the Day' competition.

The presentation of entries, the judging and announcement of the winners took place in National Marine Aquarium in front of the hugely impressive Atlantic Reef tank, following a barbeque in the grounds of the Aquarium overlooking Plymouth Sound.
