Grouper and cleaner wrasse on the house reef at the Coral Hilton, Nuweiba
The house reef at the Coral Hilton in Nuweiba is the perfect destination for honing your skills. Numerous critters can be found on the reef as well as under the jetty and on the sandy bottom just off the shore.

Oceanic Whitetip and pilot fish under the boat at Elphinstone in the Red Sea.
We had hoped to see Oceanic Whitetips at Elphinstone when we visited in September. Sadly we only had the one encounter. There were two spotted under the boat as we were coming back on the zodiac from a dive. Think I managed to almost drain my tank as I attempted to stay as long as possible.

Silky shark in the Jardines de la Reina, Cuba.
The Jardines de la Reina marine reserve in Cuba blew me away. The reefs were incredibly healthy and we had the company of lots of silkys and caribbean reef sharks on many of the dives. This picture was taken at the end of a dive just under the boat.
