I learned to dive in Gibraltar 1972. As an army kid we've been stationed in some exotic places like Malaysia. I learned to swim there age 4 and just loved the sea from then on. At the age of 16 when we were stationed in Gibraltar it was natural for me and my twin brother to swim and snorkel and go spearfishing all day long. Then I learned to dive with the army in Gibraltar. Then when my father was stationed in Germany I dived the chilly lakes of the North like the Mohne Dam and the dykes of Holland. Since then I've been a member of North Staffs, Harlow and now Peterborough BSAC

I was Diving officer of Peterborough Sub Aqua Club for 3 years. We dive the wrecks of the North Sea off the East Anglian coast. I'd like to think of the East Anglian coast as my back yard. I know it very well and love the area. It's a place that has taken me 20 yeas to get to know. My first trips were in a floppy inflatable diving a couple of miles off shore using transits to find wrecks. Now I have my own RIB and we research then dive the fantastic virgin wrecks up to 20m offshore.

I'm an Advanced Diver, Club Instructor, Advanced Nitrox Diver, Diver Cox'n, and Yachtmaster. I'm BSAC's Travel Club Photographic Correspondent. I write on Underwater Photography for BSAC, and devised, run and am one of the Judges for the Photographic competition now in its 4th year.

I'm a BSOUP award winner. Winner of SUBIOS 2yrs running and national competitions Recently I'm spoiling myself with warm water tropical diving. I hate cold water even though I had a fantastic trip in the Arctic with Killer Whales in 2002. I suffered the cold for the experience of swimming with there fantastic creatures. Favorite diving has got to be where there is warm water and there is visibility for me and my camera to return home with a bag full of really different images.

My wife Cheryl is my diving partner and beautiful model. My daughter Sophie has had so many underwater pics taken of her she is completely over exposed at the age of 3I live in Deeping St James near Peterborough. My full time occupation is Graphic Designer and Photographer. I own and run a small Graphic Design and Photographic studio called Plus Two Design.
