At
our last meeting of 1986, the OPEN PORTFOLIO COMPETITION attracted
just ten entries, Each portfolio was projected twice and the
audience present invited to vote for their favourite three.
Fifth place went to WARREN WILL1ARS, whose portfolio received
34 points. BILL HEWITT came fourth with 42 points. Third place
went to PETER SCOONES with 65 points. Runner-up was MIKE VALENTINE
with 83 points. The winner, with 96 points was GEORGETTE DOUWMA.
Georgette
was presented with at cheque for £50, Autographed copies
of WALT DEAS' book Australia's Great Barrier Reef, kindly
donated by Walt, were presented to Georgette, Mike and Peter.
