Cover photo: Green turtle in Kaui, Hawaii by Hal Beral. The original colour slide won the 'Reptiles at Risk' category in the 'BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year' 1994 competition organised by BBC Wildlife Magazine and The Natural History Museum. Taken using a Nikonos V and 15 mm lens with a single strobe on Fuji film.
