PHOTO TECHNIQUES -
WIDE-ANGLE with STEVE JONES
Steve has been published to very
high acclaim in both the UK and overseas and is currently a regular
contributor to the German Tauchen magazine, Europe's highest
circulating dive magazine. He is not yet a full time photo pro, 'I
have a day job as well' he reminds me, but I can see him heading that
way with his skill and vision. He has taken photos since 8 and
learned to dive at 14, then progressed to work full time as a
professional PADI and NAUI diving instructor in Egypt and the
Maldives for 6 years during the '90s.
Steve will talk about wide-angle
underwater photography, appealing to all levels of experience. He
will cover dome theory, lighting techniques - artificial, natural and
balanced and applications such as shooting seascapes, big stuff and
close-focus wide angle. Check out Steve's site on www.millionfish.com

the British Isles. Through underwater photography, writing,
presentations and activities in schools, Paul, along with Teresa,
aims to raise awareness of Britain's wonderful marine animals and
support the protection and conservation of our beautiful but
vulnerable marine habitats.
Paul Naylor's new book, the 2nd
edition of Great British Marine Animals, was published on 11th July
2005. Written for non-specialists, it helps identify the common
animals that live around our shores and also shows the many
intriguing ways they go about their lives. Paul will talk about the
fascinating animals found in some of his favourite dive spots around
Britain. Check Paul's website out at www.marinephoto.co.uk
