Meeting - Wednesday 17 July
The
July meeting of the Society took place on Wednesday 17th July
at the usual venue - the Holland
Club, Sherfield Building, Imperial College, London SW7
5BD at 7.30 for 8.00 p.m. sharp.
We
held a workshop on putting a portfolio together. Linda Dunk
introduced the workshop with tips and advice. Members then
split into smaller groups led by a BSoUP portfolio winner
to help choose a portfolio from member's slides. All portofilios
were then projected - and what a great display they made!
The
'Focus On' competition category was 'People'. The winner was
Len Deeley with a shot of a diver on the 'Carnatic' in the
Red Sea.
There
was also a review of the BSoUP Splash-in
2002 winning entries by Brian Pitkin. |
