Rob Bailey
Rob Bailey: U/W photography in the UK – a 10 year retrospective. Rob will share with us his passion for underwater photography in the UK, some of his experiences, a few insights, and his personal approach.  He hopes that his message will help to enhance everyone’s underwater photography. And of course he will share some of his images, and the places he has personally found to be particularly productive.
Rob has been diving for over 25 years and taking underwater photographs for almost as long.  Originally from Canada, he worked as a NAUI scuba instructor at the University of Calgary from 1993-1999.  After a 6 year spell in the Netherlands he pitched up on UK shores in 2005.  He never dives without his camera, currently a Nikon D300 in a Sea & Sea housing.  A committed UK diver, many of his photographic successes in recent years at BSoUP, BUPG and other forums showcase the best of the UK underwater.  He's an active member of BSoUP and the Bristol Underwater Photography Group and is obsessed by all things photographic!
