Colin Doeg: Getting Published

Many photographers dream of seeing their work in print. BSoUP co-founder Colin Doeg, who over the years has seen his work appear in many national newspapers and magazines, will describe the current market situation and opportunities. Earlier in the year he spoke about photography web sites that he found both interesting and useful.

Paul Duxfield: Camera formats, technology and the future - where are we heading?

Paul will discuss the various camera types now available and their stringths and weaknesses, and opine on what he thinks the best options are to get the images you want, now and in the future. Paul-s opinions may invite some debate, so come along and be prepared to offer your own opinions!

Paul Duxfield (Duxy) is Sales Manager and Uber Geek at Ocean Leisure Cameras and Guru at Deepshots (well, that-s what his Linked in page says!).  He regularly gives talks and advice to dive clubs and their members about how to choose and use underwater photographic equipment. He has written for DIVE and the wider photographic press, and is currently writing a column for Sport Diver. He runs several trips and liveaboard workshops around the world's popular diving destinations each year, teaching everyone from first time newbies to those looking to get the best from a new system. He is also chief lion tamer at a Facebook Group called Dux Soup, which is not just underwater focussed, where he and various others from the world of underwater photography and beyond take a light hearted look at all things photographic.
