Wednesday 17th September

The next meeting of BSoUP takes place on Wednesday 17th September at 7.30 for 8.00 p.m. at our usual venue the Holland Club, Imperial College, S. Kensington, London. Directions.

Photo techniques: Dome Ports 2 by Peter Scoones.

A co-founder of BSoUP Peter Scoones is probably best known for his stunning underwater film and video sequences in the block-busting BBC series 'Life on Earth', 'Blue Planet' and 'Life in the Freezer' amongst many others. Peter was making his own dome ports back in the 1960's and is certainly more than qualified to impart some of his vast storehouse of knowledge.

Focus On: Movement

Members only. Rules and Entry form

Main Event: Shooting Professionally / Creatively Underwater to brief and budget by Zac Macauley.

Zac is one of the UK's foremost professional underwater photographers, shooting for over 20 years both in the open water and in film tanks. He works with advertising, design and creative agencies all over the world both under the water and in normally aspirated envronments.

A highly qualified diver with the all important HSE qualification, he is an artist first, who uses the medium of water.

Zac also shoots people and lifestyle with the same creativity and input of his underwater tank work but without an artificial air supply.

As the title of the talk suggests Zac will be showing some of his extensive range of commissioned images and reveal how he took them.
