BSoUP Meeting - November 2003

Previous month Next month

BSoUP Meeting Wednesday 19 November at 7.30 for 8.00 p.m.

This month, we have taken advantage of an extremely exciting opportunity and are thrilled to be hosting one of the greatest underwater photographers in the world. Amos Nachoum has kindly accepted our invitation to speak at the
November meeting, his very demanding schedule permitting.

Amos is a true adventurer, his imagination and breathtaking images spanning an awesome array of continents and animals. If it is big, elusive and photographically challenging in the extreme, Amos has either captured the shot or is working on it.

For more than twenty years, Amos's explorations have been featured by National Geographic, the BBC, and the Discovery Channel.

His photo essays have been published among others in National Geographic, Outdoor
Photographer, Sport Diver, BBC Wildlife, Men's Journal, Time, Life, and Conde Nast Traveller. His presentation style is both charismatic and
inspiring and if you can attend, you will not be disappointed.

The November meeting will also include the A.G. M., starting at 8.00 p.m. sharp, followed by the Beginners Portfolio Competition. If you wish to enter then please ensure that you submit your entry before 8.00 p.m. to avoid disappointment.

The Focus On final has been postponed to December!

As last month, when our guest speaker was Kurt Amsler, I would be grateful for an indication of your potential attendance.
