'This nudibranch is Flabellina lineata, easily recognised by the distinctive white lines running down the top of the body and through the front appendages. It was found in about six 6 metres of water whilst shore diving in Loch Creran on Scotland’s west coast in April 2010. The overall length of the creature was around one 1 inch At the time there were numerous large nudibranchs of this species evident on the rocks and on the kelp. A head on portrait gave me the composition I was most pleased with.
Trevor won an individual acrylic trophy.
