RULES
All
entries must have been taken underwater.
The
entrant must be the photographer.
Images entered must not have come first, second or third in
a national or international competition, such as BSoUP's Open
Portfolio or Beginners' Portfolio Competitions or the BSoUP
or St Abbs Splash-Ins, DIVE's British Underwater Image Festival, U/W Photographer of the Year,
Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Marine Conservation Society
etc.
Digital
entries must be in JPG format.
Images
must be no larger than 1400 pixels wide or 1050 pixels tall (at a resolution of 72 pixels/inch).
Filenames
should include the entrant's name (j_smith01.jpg). See the
"Re-sizing Images
For Competitions" for more details.
If
you are entering digital images please submit them using the Competitions entry form

If
you can not send your images by email, please send them on
a CD to
BSoUP

to
arrive no later than the Monday before the event.
Please
pack your CD carefully and send it in a Jiffylite or similar
padded envelope. CDs will not be returned.
Finally
Please
do not enter more than two weeks before
the competition, and always check this website before sending
digital entries on CD by post in case the normal recipient
is away and we have made an alteration to the address to be
used!
COPYRIGHT
Copyright of all images submitted remains with the photographer. BSoUP reserves the right to use the winning images on its website, in its magazine 'in focus' and in press releases in connection with the 'Focus on'' competition. Any such images will be credited to the photographer.
