& British Telecom Hobbies Exhibition 1985

Reproduced from in focus 9. Apr. 1985

Underwater Association Symposium

Since the BSoUP Exhibition at the National Theatre last September / October (reported in IN FOCUS No 6), the Society has purchased an additional two display panels to better project the Society's image.

A selection of prints, by COLIN DOEG, GEORGETTE DOUWMA, DAVID GEORGE, PETER ROWLANDS, PETER SCOONES and WARREN WILLIAMS, was set up at the Underwater Association Symposium held at the Natural History Museum in London in March.

The Society is grateful to Paul Clarke Geoff Potts and Brian and Linda Pitkin for setting up and dismantling the exhibit and of course to the photographers who provided the outstanding prints.

British Telecom Hobbies Exhibition

During the same weekend, a selection of prints used at the Royal Photographic Society exhibition 'Maritime England' in Bath in August / September 1982 were on display at the British Telecom Hobbies Exhibition at Ealing Town Hall. The Society is grateful to John Langford, who organised the Underwater section.

Last weekend the BSdUP stand was again set up, this time with a selection from the National Theatre exhibition, at the BSAC Exhibition at Crystal Palace. The display attracted a lot of interest and enquiries from the visiting public. The Society is grateful to Jan Lenart, Paul Clark and Brian and Linda Pitkin who set up and dismantled the exhibit, to Jan and Mike Maloney, Fred Blandford, Graham Hayward, Brian Humphreys Brian Read, Paul Clark and Brian and Linda Pitkin who manned the stand during the weekend and to the BSAC for providing facilities.
