| I
am a chartered surveyor and commercial property developer,
just 50 years old! and have been diving for 10 years.
I started taking underwater photographs about 5 years
ago with a Nikonas V and last year purchased my Fuji
S2 Pro and subal housing. Since going digital I believe
the standard of my photographs has improved considerably..
I
am a warm water diver! and this year have dived in
the Southern Red Sea aboard the MV Hurricane, Menorca
and have just returned from 3 weeks in Manado and
Kungkungan Bay.
When
not diving or taking photographs I spend my spare
time fly fishing and snow skiing.
The
trip to Manado and KBR was blighted by my camera ceasing
to work on the 4th day. I had to borrow what I could
from other photographers until a second hand replacement
S2 Pro arrived from the UK with 4 days left of my
holiday.
The
mantis shrimp and orange frogfish were taken in KBR
with a borrowed Nikon D2 X from Shannon Conway who
won this competition. We both use the same make of
strobes ( Inon) so lighting was not too much of a
problem and the camera is a fantastic bit of kit!!
- one day!! The long nose hawk fish and two anenome
fish were taken in Manado - Bunaken Island before
my camera stopped working!! The wreck and Divers was
taken in the Red Sea in July this year. |
