Jim Greenfield - Runner-up
Runner-up - Wolf fish by Jim Greenfield
Diving 50 years this month, UW photography seriously since 1965, initially with a Calypsophot and bulb flash; mostly dive Scotland but usually get a couple of warm water trips each year, went digi 3 years ago - Canon5D/Aquatica; won a few gold medals and firsts at Brighton and "Diver" organised competitions. More interested in marine life pics than scenics and only occasionally resort to wide angle.
The picture: very cooperative wolf fish that didn't back off but in a really awkward spot in a tight, narrow gully. Could only take it in portrait as it was the only way I could get my camera in front of it due to surrounding boulders. Nearly had to stand on my head even then! Not happy after the first attempt so went back the following day (The Craig, St. Abbs) and did it again with better results and got a whole string of shots like this.
