I’ve been diving for about 25 years, both in UK waters and abroad. About 15 years ago I bought my first Nik 5 on a whim and have been hooked on underwater photography ever since - I love the added dimension it brings to a dive, treasure hunting for exciting subjects.

This painted goby was taken on the wreck of the Hera, off Falmouth. The seabed is made up of sand and maerl coral and literally hopping with tiny gobies. They were curious and came right up to the front of the camera. Luckily for me this one yawned at just the right moment. Taken with a D200, 60mm lens and twin strobes in a Sea & Sea housing.
