I’ve been diving for about 25 years, both in UK waters and abroad. About 15 years ago I bought my first Nik 5 on a whim and have been hooked on underwater photography ever since - I love the added dimension it brings to a dive, treasure hunting for exciting subjects.

Cephalopods are my favourite underwater creatures – they’re so other-worldly. I was lucky enough to come across some squid on a night dive in the Alor Islands, Indonesia. Their intelligence makes them naturally curious and this one came close enough for me to get a few shots. Taken with a D200, 60mm lens and twin strobes in a Sea & Sea housing.
